COMMUNITY GROUPS

Ballard Church community groups seek to consistently gather people together in homes and places within the community as they engage the mission of Ballard Church together. This environment is the main way people can develop meaningful relationships within our church community.

BALLARD BRUNCH

We know how essential relationships are to spirituality and finding your place within a church community. On the 4th Sunday of each month, the entire Ballard Church community gathers together after our second service for a brunch that is provided by one of our Community Groups. There is no cost and this is a great way to connect with other people at Ballard Church.

Ballard Connect

Every 6 weeks, Ballard Church hosts an informal dinner in which people who are fairly new can find out more about who we are as a church community and how to get connected.

PLAYSPACe

This is a space designed for the many families in Ballard and the surrounding communities. We hope this can be a place where parents, families, and children from all around our city can connect and have fun!

BCreative

BCreative is a group that explores the intersection of faith and creativity. Whether you consider yourself a creative person or not, the truth of the matter is that God has created you as a creative being. So no matter where you fall on the spectrum of experience in art, we are all designed to explore our own creativity.

ballard Fellows

This is a group of young men who are looking to grow relationally and spiritually through shared experiences. Be it hiking in the great outdoors, gathering around a shared meal, or exploring downtown Ballard, we invite all young men (ages 20-30) to meet to pursue purpose, build friendships, and explore our city.

MEMBERSHIP

Ballard Church members are people in our church community that have decided to partner with us in exploring our faith, connecting in meaningful relationships, and serving our community and world. Here is the process for becoming a member of Ballard Church:

1. Attend a Ballard Church Membership Class

These classes are offered once a quarter. Each class is centered around a casual meal in which the details of Ballard Church and how people can engage with what Ballard Church is doing and hopes to be is outlined. There is an expanded time for any and all questions related to Ballard Church followed by the dissemination of Membership Covenants.

2. Complete Ballard Church Membership Covenant

Membership Covenants are completed and submitted to the Associate Pastor of Community.

3. Each Membership Covenant receives approval from the pastoral             staff

4. Membership Covenants are sent to Board of Administration for           final approval

5. Members are notified of their approval by the Associate Pastor of         Community
